Sebenarnya ini trip 3 tahun lalu (2015). Tapi, saya mandek baru cerita pre-keberangkatan sampai hari pertama trip aja di
sini dan di
sini. Kali ini, saya mau
share rangkuman dan
itinerary perjalanan saya selama satu minggu mengunjungi Malaysia dan Singapore dengan biaya terjangkau ala
backpacker (sekitar 4 juta
all-in, kalau gak salah hitung waktu beli oleh-oleh coklat mungkin bisa lebih hemat lagi wkwk)
. Mungkin bisa berguna untuk teman-teman yang berencana mau trip ke luar negeri pertama kali (kayak saya waktu itu) tapi dengan
budget terbatas.
Untuk tips beli tiket sudah pernah saya bahas di
sini. Saya beli tiket pesawat Air Asia waktu promo. Berangkat lewat Kuala Lumpur dan naik kereta ke Singapore sekitar 8 jam (berangkat malam). Begitu pula untuk pulangnya.

Tips:
* Saya pake aplikasi peta offline
MAPS.ME dan sebagian besar akurat, sama banget kayak di peta, dan di sana banyak pake MRT dibanding bus karena rutenya mudah kalau disesuaikan dengan tempat-tempat yang ingin dituju), beli
tourist pass paket 5 hari, jadi bebas ke sana kemari dengan MRT atau bus di Singapore tanpa khawatir bayar lagi dan lagi ketika mau naik transportasi umum, apalagi kalau misal nyasar
* Selama trip di Singapore, saya gak ada biaya
akomodasi sama sekali karena mengandalkan
Couchsurfing. Untuk di Malaysia, hanya
booking hostel 1 malam untuk berdua jadinya hemat

Makan kadang di KFC, MCD, atau di rumah makan Timur Tengah di dekat masjid apapun yang ada di SG
*
Sholatnya di masjid terdekat dengan rute trip (kalau ada), atau di pojokan
rooftop mall, atau di ujung teratas tangga darurat. Jaga-jaga bawa koran juga untuk alas sajadah
Langsung aja ke itinerary-nya per hari.
(P.s: Trip ini ala anak arsitektur, jadi harap maklum yang dikunjungi kebanyakan yang berhubungan dengan gedung, museum, atau tata kota wkwk)

Departure Day (Day 1)
Airasia Flight (Jakarta - Kuala Lumpur) - airport train to KL City Central - train to Woodland Singapore (about 8 hours).

Terminal 3 Soekarno Hatta - airport train from KLIA airport to KL City Center - Eat KFC at the station (the station is quite big) - regular train from KL to SG (Woodland) |
Day 2
Arrive at Woodland - go to Ang Mo Kio MRT station (buy Tourist Pass/ transportation card for MRT and bus) - Orchard Road (pray, lunch at KFC) - strolling around SAM (Singapore Art Museum) - go to Couchsurfing host's home (Tampines) - Tampines Mall - go to Sultan Mosque - strolling around Bugis street - dinner at Bugis Junction Mall (Mc Donald's).

Bunch of Shops on Orchard Road (killing time before go to our host's house) - Walking around Orchard (direction to Singapore Art Museum) - Front yard of a mall (just stop by in a while) - Singapore Art Museum (it's closed, so we'd go back tomorrow) |

Day 3
SAM (Singapore Art Museum) - Vivo City (Mall) to go to Sentosa - Sentosa Island (the beach and playing arena)

Day 4
Bayfront Mall (in front of Marina Bay Sands) - walking around Art Science Museum area - Helix Bridge (near The Float Marina Bay) - Gardens by the Bay area - Flower Dome - move to another CS host's home (Yishun Area)
